Visitor Policy Changes

Please read all changes to our Visitor Policy.  This policy is updated regularly as our needs and requirements change throughout the course of this COVID-19 Pandemic.

Effective April 7, 2020 -- Until Further Notice

No visitors allowed with patients in hospital and clinics at this time due to COVID-19 Hospital Policy.

Effective March 26, 2020 -- Until Further Notice

Dr. offices in clinic request only one (1) person accompany patient to office. (Both patient and visitor will be screened)

Hospital inpatient visitation is discouraged and will be determined according necessity and patient condition.

ED visitation into the actual exam room is not allowed unless patient is a minor, or their medical condition requires a family member present for their safety.  And in those cases only one (1) person will be permitted to be screened and allowed enter into the ED waiting area.  Anyone that is allowed to enter into facility will be screened first no matter what.

Effective March 23, 2020 -- Until Further Notice

All hospital staff and visitors must enter through the Emergency Room entrance and be screened prior to proceeding further.

Patients are allowed two visitors over age 18. No children will be allowed at this time.

Outpatients will enter through ER as well and present for screening.

Clinic patients will enter through the middle entrance near Dr.’s offices to be screened and escorted to their appointments.

We request that anyone experiencing flu-like symptoms or fever please notify staff immediately on arrival.

ALL visitors are required to check in with the Registration Desk.

Bellville Medical Center requests that visitors to the hospital stay home if they are experiencing any symptoms of illness at this time for the everyone’s protection.  Visitors who exhibit symptoms of illness will be asked to return when they are no longer symptomatic.  We seek everyone’s cooperation for the safety of our patients, staff and other visitors.  Stay safe and healthy!
