Bellville Medical Center is home to the only hospital in Austin County. Established in 1928 as a result of the oil boom in nearby Raccoon Bend, the original 4-bed hospital has evolved into a licensed 32-bed acute care hospital that has recently returned to a locally operated independent hospital and professional building.

Hear What Our Families Say About Us

five stars@3x

“Thank you all for helping my father get transferred on this torrential day! You truly are a huge blessing to my entire family and we are so grateful and blessed he was in your care!!! If it weren’t for all of you he wouldn’t have made it! As of yesterday he is back…”

Sherry Fontenot - March 19, 2021

“Treated with respect and professionally in all of the hospital. The ER called over the weekend to check on me. Dr. Bosse’s office is exceptional. Mia Williams and Don Bosse are little punches of God’s touch with their caring attitudes. Our hospital is wonderful.”

Jane Ueckert - August 14, 2019

“The staff from the ER were great, they quickly diagnosed me and admitted me to the hospital. The nurses were awesome, they did everything they could to make me comfortable. I had an issue come up, I spoke to the charge nurse and she went out of her way to correct it…”

Victor Brast - July 22, 2019

“Personnel always willing to help. Care of patients is number one.”

Vicki Lotspeich - July 9, 2019

“From concerns via phone calls… to registration… to surgical procedures… very professional!”

Karen, Frank & Saha White - July 3, 2019
